Your adventure begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel as we head to the Port of Los Cristianos. From there, we board the Fred Olsen ferry for a scenic crossing to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island’s historic capital.
Geological Wonders & UNESCO Heritage
Once we arrive, we journey along the southern route to witness the majestic Roque de Agando. This iconic volcanic monolith, sculpted by millions of years of erosion, serves as a powerful geological symbol of the island.
Our exploration continues into the heart of the island at Garajonay National Park. As a UNESCO World Heritage Sitesince 1986, this park protects one of the most vital laurel forests in the Canaries. You will enjoy a peaceful walk through lush, evergreen landscapes featuring plant species that have survived here since the Cenozoic Era—a truly deep connection with nature.
Authentic Flavors & Ancient Traditions
After working up an appetite, we arrive at Las Rosas Restaurant. Here, you will be treated to a cozy, family-style lunch featuring traditional Gomera cuisine (included in your tour price).
During our time together, you will witness a live demonstration of Silbo Gomero. This extraordinary whistled language is the only one of its kind in the world and is still practiced today by over 22,000 residents.
Picturesque Villages & Historic Landmarks
-
Hermigua: A stunning agricultural valley famous for its lush banana plantations and local wine production.
-
Agulo: Known as “the jewel of La Gomera,” this northern village features charming cobbled streets and traditional architecture, with spectacular views of Mount Teide across the water.

The Return Journey
As we head back to the pier—one of Spain’s busiest ferry ports—keep your eyes on the horizon. During the ferry crossing back to Tenerife, it is common to spot pilot whales or dolphins playing in the wake of the ship.
